With the last Federal elections it was quite apparent that the majority of the politicians did not grasp the principles behind franking credits. So the blind led the blind.
If the average pollie really understood what profiteering takes place with shorting at the expense of retail shareholders they would ban it . It’s quite frightening how little is understood by those who have the power to improve things.
