If shareholders want to sell on market to fund their SPP purchase, they should have their application rejected or receive a nominal allocation.
There should be plenty of investors taking up their full allocation to provide management with the flexibility to scale back where required. This approach should assist in reducing the potential sell down in shares that often happens with a SPP.
