I understand about the MasterCard rails but if no body knows about this and there is no time to waste with Black Friday+ sales are they really going to get a good view of whether e.g. people would use Bunnings.
I would have thought the answer was a given with all the renovation going on.
One further question it then raises, is how might this impact the recent Mitre 10 / Home Hardware relationship if at all.
This process seems to infer that Bunnings cannot stop the use of HummTapp, surely they just say not accepted if no agreed contract and I still do not understand how Bunnings gets remunerated. I assume a lot less than a "real" tie up. Customers do not want to be embarrassed.
Same question then for every other retailer mentioned.
Basically can anyone explain exactly how this is going to work and when is anyone who might have any intention to actually use going to be told about it.
William Schmidt is the GM of BNPL Product for Humm so agree if that iswhere info came from he should certainly know.
