A couple of interesting and new points
- Providing DRI feedstock & manufacture of specialist steels on site are both possibilities, in addition to the 67% concentrate and pelletising into green iron
- The potential for desalination plants at Kielpa and Cape Hardy - which would completely change the way water is managed on the EP and remove all dependence on the Murray River. I haven't heard of this opportunity before, looks like IRD has kept this one up their sleeve
- The Company has also provided terms to a party interested in a farm in agreement on Gawler! A farm in would be exceptional as it would unlock non-dilutive funding for IRD
As well, COVID has had a material impact on the technical due diligence and international travel. Hopefully with borders reopening we can see things accelerate next year.
So many things to get excited about, its really just about being patient here. The market is completely missing this opportunity imo
