Some people seem to be under the impression (wishful thinking) that this forum was organised just to please some impatient AVZ shareholders. AVZ is just a part of the bigger picture presented by Congo and other African nations. Maybe they want to send a message to the West: We have the resources in the ground, they will be digged up on our terms and to the benefit of the African people first. Maybe we in the West have to learn to be a bit more humble and respect the sovereignty of other non-Western nations. If foreign companies want to do business in Australia they have to go through the bureaucratic processes as well. Just saying.
