aren't these shareholders suing their own company only acting against their own best interests? Any legal action only distracts the directors from the job they should be doing of growing the company and creating new value for shareholders, and it incurs big legal bills which are paid for by all shareholders. Every other shareholder not engaged in class actions should launch our own class actions against this disgruntled group of shareholders for the damage they're inflicting on their own company. Their action doesn't make sense to me. As far as I'm concerned they have no case, the directors kept the market as fully informed as it was possible to do in view of the circumstances of a market situation which was changing rapidly due to the pandemic. Noone had a crystal ball to look into to see what even only the short term future held as the pandemic and shutdowns were starting to take effect.
