spot on Alf..... smallpox was untreatable and ppl hoped they would live through such a challenge to life.
the highly experimental smallpox inoculation used a live virus and antibodies taken from the blood of those who had survived the infection. Many died as a consequence, with a sizeable proportion dying not from the live virus but from reactions to blood type mismatch.
yet smallpox is now largely eliminated globally --- what an achievement.
and now people are quibbling over some false allegations of deaths from the covid vaccine and adverse events..... all enormously exaggerated and many outright lies.
I don't doubt that some actually believe the lies and its due to a lack of critical thinking and preference to believe lies rather than medical evidence.
and now they claim the rules around vaccination are discriminatory.
what a laugh if it didn't matter --- but it does actually matter.
