efpos fraud at mcdonald's wa

I was wondering if MIK is talking to Maccas about their tampered proof seals being used on these Efpos machines ?

Going by what has been reported, IMHO it sounds like an inside job.

To plant some sort of recording chip in these units, you'd need to have access to them in the first place ?

Maccas can continue to swap over these units when fraud is detected but what to stop the new units being again compromised? wouldn't it be better at least to have an idea where when & which unit/s have been tampered with ?
