mate, we're all human and none are superdudes..... at my age things go wrong now and then.... I rattle when I go for ride on the pushie up the hill because of all the bloomin' pills and have had a few infusions and such these last years.
I was riding almost every day before the heart did a Peter Sellers duet with Sophia Loren.... but I'm on my way back - slowly.
no not a sympathy plug but a warning that no matter your age you can turn up something that weakens your immune response any day of the week.
a weakened immune response following truly invasive treatment is common.
I am not immortal as I was 2 yrs ago.... and neither are you.
