or that with the current anti-hydrocarbon sentiment they don't want to be perceived as being pro-petroleum.
putting reality aside for the moment, petroleum stocks are being valued below economic valuations due to global warming concerns.
the fact that there are actually no real plans as to how to wean society off of petroleum isn't currently a concern. however, when the north can't keep their heaters on during winter reality will return. Albeit briefly.
