BNPL is old news now and Zip is just too slow to innovate and remain relevant…they’re just all over the shop. We have Zip pay and zip money and zip biz where the credit assessments between the accounts don’t even line up.
They listed well before Afterpay, yet only provided limit increases 3 years after them for zip pay and only $500 more.
For example, Zip got themselves into a lot of computer stores (the latest is newegg ) but nobody would use it because $1500 -$2000 max just doesn’t go far at all in a computer store with a zip pay account. So who cares that zip got newegg. Can’t buy a gaming computer with it.
Afterpay with $3000 does and that doesn’t require having to apply for some offshoot (see zip money)
