Once again the issue is that covid is transmittable and the government has to ensure everyone is as safe as possible.

Vaccines were seen as our best and quickest way to offer protection and they worked very well until the Delta variant appeared.

Alternatives are being trialled along with new generation vaccines and in tine treatments will evolve.

It's easy to point at an issue and give a simplistic solution but that rarely works out like that in the real world.
