Not really 8 days of continuous green - only four. What is telling though is your comment re low volume.. as I posted last.
One way amongst three to tell the strength of a trend is to look at the directional movement, the ADX in conjunction with the other two components in trend analysis (the +DI and the -DI). Most settle for an ADX above 25 to denote a share trending but it's the overall direction that is the "tell all".
You can see the strength of the trend with LTR has been decreasing since July with a slight recovery in September (the blue line). As at today it is now below what could be termed a trending mode -- it could be at a low with a recovery in sight or it could lead to a period of consolidation --- nevertheless traders and investors that understand trend strength would not enter here until some direction is evident.
Following that most use a bit of reverse psychology and sell when the -DI is at a low and reverses instead of buying when the +DI is at a low and reverses.
