From what I have read it sounds like the current vaccines will not be effective. Pfizer says they can adjust the booster to include the latest variant but this takes a hundred days. I'm going to take it slow because there is a chance borders could start closing again between Europe and US.
The biggest question for me is does the Merk and Pfizer pills work against this variant. If they do then hospitalizations will ve low and no need for borders closing
