I wrote this on HC in 2011 after long being an advocate for the building of new dams during the drought all the while flim flam banged on about energy intensive water treatment plants.
NOTE: It was the skeptics who called for more dams out of the logic that rapid population growth had called for such and the drought would break as they have always.
Warmists advised for ENERGY INTENSE desalination plants because they believed it would never rain sufficiently enough again.
