Double edged sword in this article about events in BF. Riots, internet lockdowns and tear gas on one hand but people are protesting that not enough is being done to stop the Islamists. It seems that the overwhelming sentiment in the urban areas is a desire to get going and have some stability and progress and who can blame them? So, I think this puts to rest any notion that the Islamists have any sort of ground base of support outside of remote areas, probably where poverty is rife. WAF's embedding of prosperity in the local community is a winner. I recall Richard noting that they had more female local truck drivers than men. With the community on side, anything is possible!
