What are debacle! Computershare Investor Services Limited has received and accepted two BPay payments of $15,000 each for different family members, paid before the closing time of 3 pm EST 29 September, 2009.
Subsequently, the applications were rejected for the reason given that "they were not received in time".
If this were true, (and there is some doubt about it)wouldn't the correct procedure have been to immediately reverse the entry and send the funds back to the institution from whence they came?
Hard to do? Not at all, have you ever seen what banks do when you write out a cheque which overdraws the account? They have no difficulty whatsoever, in reversing the entry and of course thump you with a hefty charge!
Oh, it nearly slipped my mind tsk, tsk - I'M STILL WAITING TO RECEIVE THE (fexpletiveg) REFUND CHEQUES TOTALLING $30,000.00!!!!
