Well sierra I'm not sure that I can agree with that.

In one sense you are right. If people approach QPN with the view that it is just NEO with a new name and they bring all the prejudices that they built up about NEO with them. then sure they are just going to see old "NEO".

And in a way QPN is old "NEO" with a new name because it simply inherited all the structure that was there in NEO at the switch.

But we are now over about a year (or over a year) since the name change took place and as i have indicated in my last couple of posts QPN now is a whole lot different from what it was back in the middle of last year.

And that is where people's past prejudices can make them blind to the quiet transformation that has been taking place.

QPN has :
(a) a new Executive Manager in Mark Freeman
(b) a source of cashflow from Bullseye
(c) a much tighter fiscal management now....lower costs
(d) a new SJJV partner in California in the Canadian firm Nations Petroleum that intends to push things forward.
(e) been recently reducing its Californian acreage to more manageable levels and therefore reducing rental costs from around US$1.5 million a year to a much lower fraction of that now.
(f) has arranged various farmouts and deals which give it exposure to some decent prospects with real chances for significant return.

So on that basis alone QPN is a far different company than the old NEO.

Wake up. Smell the roses !
