Downunder approach too casual? Maybe they want quick answers to 3 questions: What kind of blocks would you like? How many would you like? When do you want them? Or perhaps it's: When can you send us machines? How many can you send? What model? Business people often don't understand another country's business etiquette. A German friend went on a business trip to Japan and immediately told them he could supply product x at quantity y by date z. He learned that first he had to have a meal together... build up a relationship... and then talk business. Perhaps my German friend's approach would be a good one for Austria.
