I do understand what you're saying however there's probably a bit more too it. For example, with the 90 day recognition period they can't state the numbers that I've posted because the revenue hasn't been received yet. They could put each quarters transaction total on a linear graph with a trend line however I don't believe this would be received any better that the statement that they are using.
In terms of communication I think they could break down what they have received in cash receipts for mobile transactions, indicate the number which have not been recognized this quarter because of the 90 day recognition period so that the market would have a better indication of how well this part of the business is doing.
Based on the 3c figure provided by Stig, the $6k profit I provided from my calculations actually becomes $800k which is quite different. That's the power of low cost high volume.
If you think about it, the company was doing $6m a year based on 51m transactions per quarter and now they are doing 85m transactions which is a big increase.
The market is stuck looking at BNPL figures when it's just one piece of the puzzle. Communication may change that.
