@itzgr82balive whilst this is heavily researched, it is missing a key element that renders it useless: any reference at all to the Income Tax Assessment Act. I haven't seen the complaint, but my best guess is that the ATO has alleged contraventions of the Act and that is why they are claiming a tax assessment against JK. The defence needs to show why that assessment is wrong, preferably by reference to the law and by other similar cases. Rehashing the timeline of ASX releases is interesting for background information and you've summarised it all well for someone like me that hasn't been across the whole history, but doesn't in any way show the ATO is inept or corrupt.
