bhp - the big australian

This is probably not relevant, however, but having now obtained the ripe old age of 61, I was brought up to believa Australians always gave each other a fair go and you had to live with your conscience. "Look out and protect your mates" I was always told and God knows at times I had to. "Always try to achieve your best results" I was told, "if you get shafted - try to turn the other cheek but if all else fails get even" I was told. I'm not sure from where these "illegitimate humans" evolved, but from their actions, parties on both sides (UMC and BHP) obviously do not have Australian heritage otherwise this obviously shonky deal would not have gone ahead. What sort of manager suggests that a company (or product) is worth less that an offer made by a complete stranger. To say I am 'peed off' at this stage is an understatement. I was hopeful UMC may have assisted my retirement plans in the forseeable future. Thanks to the BIG Australian and a couple of very small b###st##rds I will continue in the work force longer. I can only hope Bungy is right and there may be light at the end of the tunnel (Not the proverbial train)
