The buying started with 135m on the 21st of August and through to today, there has been 41 trading days which paint a picture of some serious accumulation
There are only 530k shares for sale through to 9.5c as at the close of trading today.
From 9.5c through to 12.5c on the sell side, there is less than 2m for sale
Value today was $1,176,594 with 312 trades and a vwap of 6.34c, up from 5.4c
volume was up 7m to 18.5m with a higher open by .006c, a higher high by 1.8c, a higher low by .006c and a higher close of up 1.8c to 7.5c
The chart is good
The accumulation is serious and the TMD is 22.6m to 2.4m
It had a higher price increase on the 21st of august when it increased 1.9c. The difference today was that it opened at it's low for the day and closed at its high for the day. Whereas on the 21st of August the difference between the open and the close was 1c ( 1.3c to 2.6c or 100%) and today's increase was 31.58%.
With only 2.4m shares for sale and a volume of 18.5m today, it easy to see that it can potentially continue it's price rise, especially due to the nature of the accumulation which is very much different from when day traders target a stock. There are some active buyers who are seeking to secure a serious stake in GDA.
If we conservatively estimate their stake over the last 41 trading days since the 135m were traded on the 21st of august, at say, 50% of the total volume of about 383m shares traded in that period, they have been buying about 4.6m shares on average per day for 41 days. ( the total average volume for the 41 days is over 9m per day).
$3.3m was the value of the shares traded on the 21st of August at a vwap of 2.44c whereas today, $1.1m was turned over at a vwap of 6.34c
The previous high was 35c on a few days in june last year so there is plenty of increases yet to occur if GDA trades at these levels.
If the iron ore, uranium or gold exploration is announced as being positively upgraded since june 2008 in the next month or two, it's anyone's guess what the share price can be.
I didn't think it would move through to 7.5c as quickly as it has but it has so is 10c on the cards next week? We'll see this time next week.
