My attitude to broker recommendations is to ignore them --whether bullish or bearish
I also take no notice for my own views, but it is a mistake to ignore them completely because institutions around the world do take notice of them, and that is the effect I watch for.
A recommendation from UBS, who are the current leaders in Australia, or JP Morgan or any of the big ones, can and does move prices.
Whether we agree with them or not, - some appear ridiculous, - doen not matter. What matters is price movement, and these guys do move prices.
