Pointless. Sueing yourself for a couple cents per share payout, yet most likely costing your business that you own $100m in lawyer fees. Always baffled me why anyone would opt to sue themselves and pay lawyers handsomely in the process, thus taking more away from YOU!
Superfunds do this as part of their ESG and holding people accountable. However they don’t really care about the cost since it’s not their money, rather a headline of ‘sueing for bad practices’.
