pwinne....similar comments made 1990 (blogging was not as widespread then, but the media were the best doomsdayers) and on HC from late 1999....the same comments were being made about how soon property would crash, some posters on here even bragged about selling their PPOR, and would wait with cash to buy back in.....some are still here, still waiting to get in at pre 2000 levels....
oh and the article I posted yesterday....this trend of over 50 years will see median house prices of over a million bucks in another 10 years....or double what they are today.... they close their minds to the facts...and just concentrate and focus on one or two minute parts...they dont see the whole picture....and miss all the other parts, that make up the sum of the whole.... case of...cannot see the woods for the trees.... see my post today...the median for the inner suburbs of Melb is now 815,000..... suggest the tyre kickers look at the outer suburbs, the inner burbs are way out of reach now cheers
