Coking Coal is used for Steel Manufacture.
It contains more carbon,
less ash and less moisture than thermal coal, (the type used in power generation).

With the World going green,
Less Thermal Coal will be used.

But Coking Coal,
also known as Metallurgical Coal,
Will still be used in Steel Manufacture.

It takes around 770kgs of Coking coal to make the steel used in a typical mid-sized car.

It is also required in the Steel Used in the Building Industry.

The worlds Tallest building required approximately 43 750 Tonnes of Coking coal....
