Is there any reason for this? Perhaps that the resource is good enough that the Board doesn't need to accept an offer that screws over ordinary shareholders, for example?

I have no axe to grind. I first saw VMS the day I posted this thread. I know VERY little about it.

I am, to some extent, considering investing in it... ergo, playing a little bit of a devils advocate.

Does anyone else have an opinion on my original questions?
