I've actually quite enjoyed getting back to do a bit of study again. As an intellectual exercise AGW as a hypothesis doesn't really interest me much anymore. Aside from learning a bit more about the CO2 radiative forcing & the feedback loops there are more interesting aspects of climate to ponder about such as volanicity.
Also on a regional basis Atolls are wondrous things. Do you know for example that Atolls actually rise when sea levels rise and fall when sea levels decrease? Try telling that to a few AGW alarmists! I must go & visit a few (atolls not alarmists I mean, even though a large proportion of my friends are the latter I suspect!)
What is needed in both sides of the debate someone like the ABC to give a documentary series on how climate functions, without the dogma. In that vein I'm posting a great intro book by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology - just to show I'm even handed, it's broadly AGW in its conlclusion, but the first section is a great introduction to the subject. I've posted the link before, but I'm doing it again for others who are intersted.
