The index rebalance trades arent prearranged , they have to buy whats on offer in the closing auction , but traders are well aware of this so they buy up all month or even to day and sell on the day of the rebalance , its just a trade for them , sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt .
Look at the buying all day , on the day when the CATH deal lapses , hopefully we get some news tomorrow on the license .
