I also have been watching the constant bot trading over recent months and it's becoming rather tedious. With 2.5% plus able to be made on each increment at these levels, these market players have no need at all to increase the overall SP. Just buy, sell, repeat....
In my very unqualified opinion, I think a share consolidation (10 to 1) would be a potential solution and remove the ability for a quick percentage trade turnover. An SP around $2.00 post consolidation also looks a more appealing investment option for us average punters too.
