Yes, this is big news, thanks for sharing Gold-Lamo! The French have been pressuring the EU into this for a few months now, despite the opposition from Germany and a few other anti-nuclear countries within the EU. It looks like the current energy crisis in Europe has helped the cause for the French side of the argument! Rising prices, inefficiency from solar and wind, especially in the colder months, and gas supply issues due to Russia/Ukraine geopolitical concerns. A lot of these countries will now be forced to rely on coal and pay a heavy price for it this winter due to their own incompetence of not going Nuclear earlier!
