The reality is that Magellan charges a fee for a premium service. On no level have they delivered that. Until they cut their management fee like just about every other fund manager they will continue to bleed fum. If we get a downturn on the market Magellan will be first on most peoples list to exit. Why would people pay the fee when they can just enter an etf for 10 basis points of management fee and get the same return. The reality is on a 10 year basis that saving of 140 basis Points is huge
