I'm really curious if anyone understands the rationale behind the Executive Team's rem structure.
RJ took home $1.3m in FY20/21 including a Short Term Incentive of $379K - for what?. Our Deputy CEO is on approx $800K per year.
It's really hard to do an apples to apples comparison with other BPNLs so I won't even try, other than to say these rem figures are consistently higher than those of Execs at Zip, Splittit and others.
How is this justified? Regardless of share price performance. AA and WJ are no fools, and the main reason I continue to sink cash into this overly disappointing stock, but as I see further value destruction this is getting harder and harder to stomach.
I'd really appreciate some considered opinions!!
Cheers, Unc
