Hi Towie I doubt we have the numbers - but irrespective it needs to be an amicable appointment otherwise it would be way too difficult for Rob going forward.
Now the company has taken a more proactive and dynamic approach, perhaps an existing director could step down and let Rob onboard. After all, appeasing the retailer SHs need for better communication and representation will help push the SP up, making it a win win for all. If supported by the board, maybe an extra position could be made available on the board.
Rob is a good speaker with good ideas, and a great representative for the retail SHs. But Rob offers more value for LNY than just being a retail SHs representative, and the existing board need to recognise those attributes. IMO Rob attending AGMs will facilitate the 'get to know you' process.
