I agree - but, there's also many cases where nations are large geographically ------- and yes, a multiple of a few for population of Oz --
but, they have very fast connections and dirt cheap --
Vietnam is quite a large country - very long from top to bottom - and, the wiring has to be seen to be believed - but, the service is fast ----------- AND - ridiculously cheap compared to Oz ---
somewhere between nothing and 3 bucks a month when I was there.
Even the cheapies in Oz - can't come within cooee of that.
Really - all that is really needed for Oz is to stop autopsies and look to where we are - and where we want or need to go
then - bite an entire mouthful of bullets and head off that way -------------------- I don't think we've got the guts - but, that's really the story
it's so dreadfully clear that we are going into an ultra high tech world - that's going to need blistering speeds of data moving about -- from nation to nation and from room to room
I think we're dead anyway - but, if you don't have connection superspeed - then, it's all over red rover
