The GoG not only risks paying compensation, but also they lose all the revenue the mine(s) will bring in. It seems like a no brainer to me. With such a large country, so sparsely populated, they should be able to "sacrifice" a few square km for a mine that will help progress, and give hope for good paying jobs to the people. Just M2c
