We certainly seem to be stationary on the runway and waiting for the control tower to give the ok to takeoff.

I would expect that the chief pilot is working feverously in the tower to gain our clearance.

Then its onwards and upwards with much Blue Sky ahead.

Today IMHO a transfer from weak hands to strong hands.

Would have liked to see an interim announcement as many here would also, but resigned probably to waiting for the quarterly.
