From what I understand dt is correct, the announcement on the 21st July says 24 core plugs were tested from 4 holes at Ross. They were the core samples drilled in 2008 and tested by a Reservior characterization laboratory in Colorado. I have no idea if its standard practice to use a sample of this size to characterize an area such as the Ross project. Because the porosity and permeability have will such a bearing on the extractable resource I would a assume to gain JORC there would have to be the assurance the samples taken and tested are representative of the project area. I might contact a few people and see if more P and P testing is needed at the Ross site…..Unless someone already has a definitive answer ??
