US talga typically imitates the ASX in delay-- it is volume based mirroring, and the ASX usually has 10x the US volume. However, the ASX as a whole typically follows the US markets.
So if the US markets tank on a monday, the next available trading session (ASX tuesday) there is often a reverberation. There is no need to take my word for it, there is a testable hypothesis. US markets tanked Friday. Therefore, if my hypothesis is correct, the ASX should be down monday.
