A long time ago now, I opined 4,or 5 electoral cycles max, would be beneficial for the entire country, for all fed and state politicians. One term to learn the ropes, and then its do and fade away, trustingly, after doing some good, along the way. Again ,look at Norway, they can only spend 4 percent of the interest from their sovereign wealth fund, thus the squeaky wheel, not the fat pig, gets the grease. This should be so bloody easy to fix, here on Oz. The libs followed labor on the anti overthrow of the leader policy, it just needs one or the other of the two, to commit ,to stopping pork barrelling. Seriously , it's got to come to a stop. That bloody NSW gas subsidy is total bullshit, the project won't in anyway lower electricity prices for NSW customers. One wonders, if there was a ridgy didge federal ICAC, that they could put the kibosh, on the endeavour.
