some agricultural projects have greater impacts in relation to water than what mining does in relation to downstream water and abstraction pressures. Additionally mining is often more heavily regulated meaning there's better monitoring of potential impacts than there would be with certain agriculture project.

Regardless, residents concerns are valid (regardless of the science) and so long as Sayona are taking the opportunity to engage and inform then we're stepping in the right direction .
