I think there was just disalignment between the early shareholders and how the board ended up. Nothing sinister that I'm aware of. After having done this for many years, I don't think it matters if the CEO is known or has a marketable history of success (there are many reasons why this doesn't happen). I'd rather have an incoming CEO/MD that knows how to find orebodies/interact with shareholders/keep momentum than a recycled seasoned CEO/MD that's done pretty much nothing useful (and the fact is that in the junior exploration sector, that's pretty much 95% of them). Share price probably hasn't dropped because the illiquidity and escrow from the founders and early shareholders - which is a good sign. I guess we'll see what happens
