Agreed Moon and Tafe nowadays is into upskilling/re-skilling which is necdessary for a viable workforce.
Not everyone is suited to Uni education and what is needed is a strong technical and further education sector(Tafe) that has a real world job centric focus. It better prepares our young for work and to upskill/re-skill older workers.
Parents will be both mindful that the future of their children is at the top of their priorities and that with a changing world many of the parents themselves need opportunity to upskill/re-skill.
If Labor markets this professionally it will turn out as you say Moon, a winner for them.
