NEW YORK, Sept 14 (Reuters) - ConocoPhillips said Tuesday operations were "normal for now" at its two Louisiana oil refineries and that company officials were watching the path of Hurricane Ivan.
Officials at the 250,000 barrel per day (bpd) eastern Louisiana refinery in Belle Chasse and the 252,000 bpd plant will watch the storm to determine possible action, said company spokesman Jeff Callender. The Belle Chasse plant is also known as the Alliance refinery and the Lake Charles plant is somtimes called the Westlake plant
