im not sure about what others think of it, but i think this is excellent news as they are able to fast track their copper projects - the real money maker - drilling starts immediately and all the prework seems to have been completed.

would have preferred it if it was offered to shareholders though.

keep in mind that exco's intentions were to use their gold resources as cashflow to eventually fund their copper projects.

now that this has been expedited, they can unlock the value of the copper resources sooner.
