ZIP is such a heavily shorted stock the spike is understandable. A shiny new announcement and the shorts are in a bit of bother.....albeit probs temporarily.
IMHO the only way ZIP can survive is to continue raising equity or merge with a partner that can support it with sustainable cashflow.
I can't even begin to understand how ZIP cashflows can become positive anytime soon let alone repay it's massive debts.
I'd like to see HUM properly valued as a financial services offering but I don't think another CEO can do that. It needs to find a merger or leverage its leasing and broker networks and move into small business lending.
