Or they could NOT increase the holding chug along for a while and once the whole shebang is de-risked, put their chunk on market.

I am not so sanguine. They will want 100%, then use as a launch pad to gobble up plenty of other gold miners, but we won't be part of it.
Chinese same as Russians. Win-win is for losers.

They won't want divvies. Their business is doing well enough, why are they here? To get as much presence as they can. They report to CCP who were happy enough to ditch barley and wine..but not gold. What do they get paid in? Aussie $. Will they repatriate or will it be useful here and advance CCP agenda? You know, stuff like supporting the democratic process by funding candidates with the right thinking. (Looking at you Daniel.)
