bongo, probably suggest you read up on the history. As I said the dynamics have changed dramatically in the last couple of years. I am not suggesting MAK undercut any cartel, those are your words, as there no longer is one to the same extent.
Did you know, for example, that the Moroccan government used to subsidise phosphate production.
Have a look at the phosphate rock price chart. Did not move for years and years. Why is it so much more volatile now? Why did it never in the past act in a supply-demand manner price wise like all other resources?
Anyway just some hints, it's very interesting reading actually.
