    Yeah, they can try. But, it's down to supply and demand.

    You know two can play this game.
    If a SH doesn't have to sell in a hurry, and you know that the demand is there - wouldn't you wait for a better price before you sell? So the seller has time on their side.

    Conversely, if a shorter has to buy back to close out an outstanding short position, with the pressure of a rising SP - wouldn't you nudge upwards to ensure that you get the required volume? The shorter doesn't have the luxury of time.

    Yep - the old supply and demand equation.

    Bring it on - I'm watching for the 15% biggrin.png
